Blue Dolphins

‘Blue Dolphins’ is a large elegant Victorian house built at the end of the 19^th century situated  on Riverside Road just steps away from where the river Aln meets the North Sea - altered, with great thought, into very comfortable apartments.  Each one has a south facing lounge, taking full advantage of the superb view on it's doorstep; whatever the time of day it is or how the weather that day presents itself, there is always something different to see in the living picture outside your window.

·        Cuthbert’s Landing, so called because the lounge window, complete with window seat, actually overlooks the site St. Cuthbert was made Bishop of  Lindisfarne in the 7^th Century. This is our ground floor apartment with outside seating area; it has two bedrooms, one single and one with king sized bed; no queue for the bathroom as it has two bathrooms, both with showers.
·        Tidal Watch named because the view is exactly that. Being on the first floor you can watch the ever changing moods of the North Sea and enjoy the coming and going of the many wild birds we have visiting the estuary throughout the year, sleeping 4 in two en-suite  bedrooms (one  with shower only and one bath with shower over) . This is our first floor apartment and boasts a small balcony.

Each apartment shares its own aspect of the same outstanding view over the beach and the Aln Estuary; both are completely self-contained and benefit from modern kitchens, bang up to date bathrooms and good entertainment systems.

Children and extremely well behaved dogs are welcome in both apartments and in fact taken together they offer a very relaxed holiday for two generation families or friends who wish to holiday together but have the benefit of their own ‘space’

We offer parking for one car to each apartment and the price includes all heating, power and bed linen.

We have a travel cot, plus high chair if needed.
